Training and Employee Involvement</strong></h3> <ol> <li>Conduct safety induction programs for all new joinees and continuous safety training for all employees working in the plant.</li> <li>Organize mock drills for various emergency situations.</li> <li>Participate in plant safety meetings and ensure closure of safety points arising from such meetings.</li> <li>Communicate safety guidelines through displays, safety signs, in‑house magazines, safety literature, annual plant safety performance reports, etc.</li> <li>Participate in safety goal/target setting, improvement projects, safety suggestion schemes and safety promotional activities.</li> </ol> <hr> <h3><strong>2. Safety Audits and Inspections</strong></h3> <ol> <li>Conduct daily safety inspections and share observation reports.</li> <li>Oversee statutory inspections for all lifting tools &amp; tackles and pressure vessels through third‑party agencies.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with ESS and GRC portals.</li> <li>Participate in internal/external safety audits and implement corrective &amp; preventive actions (CAPA).</li> <li>Carry out hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA).</li> <li>Conduct job safety analysis (JSA) for construction activities.</li> <li>Conduct statutory assessment of contractors from a safety standpoint.</li> <li>Monitor contractors’ safety performance through regular reviews, monitoring, and reward &amp; penalty systems.</li> <li>Inspect and maintain all safety equipment in the plant.</li> </ol> <hr> <h3><strong>3. Safety and Fire Control System Management</strong></h3> <ol> <li>Ensure proper functioning of safety guards, safety interlocks, hand tools, and power tools.</li> <li>Ensure 100% compliance with work permit systems and safe isolation procedures.</li> <li>Monitor and control hazardous substances in the plant.</li> <li>Procure, maintain, and monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li> <li>Monitor workplace noise levels, ventilation, and dust.</li> <li>Inspect electrical equipment and installations.</li> <li>Conduct fire risk assessments for the plant.</li> <li>Maintain firefighting equipment in operational condition.</li> </ol> <hr> <h3><strong>4. Safety Performance &amp; Measurement</strong></h3> <ol> <li>Report all incidents, including near-miss events, on the ESS platform.</li> <li>Investigate all incidents/near misses and maintain incident trend analysis data.</li> <li>Identify, recognize, and manage potential loss areas.</li> </ol> <hr> <h3><strong>5.
