<span class="jobdescription"><p>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:<br>No failure of process control system due to maintenance issue.<br>Zero down time due to non-availability of spares<br>Team work &amp; Good behavior<br>Cost Control<br>Minimal downtime, issues in operations<br>Adhering to Statutory requirements of Weights &amp; Measures.<br>Streamline and vertical ramp up of new projects.</p> <p> </p> <p>Job Description:<br>Maintenance and upkeep of the process control System:-<br>Maintaining proper maintenance schedule for all critical process control &amp;<br>monitoring system (DCS, PLC &amp; Field Instrument) and ensure the proper and<br>timely maintenance activities as per standard guidelines.<br>Co-ordination for any planned downtime. Checking the health of the<br>communication topology (Profibus DP &amp; Profinet) and taking necessary actions.<br>Hands on experience of ABB DCS &amp; PLC system.<br>Basic understanding of communication topology or network Hands on experience<br>of various type of monitoring &amp; measuring instrumentation.(Level, Flow,<br>Temperature, Pressure, Weighing system)<br>Spares Management:- Maintaining adequate inventory of spares and<br>consumables towards Instrumentation asset. Ensuring proper budgeting. Actual<br>vs. budget Timeliness.</p> <p> </p> <p>People Management:-<br>Direct &amp; guide team members; counsel workmen &amp; address grievances; Review<br>performance in order to build a motivated team &amp; a performance oriented work<br>culture.<br>Vendor Management:-Co-ordination with various instrumentation Vendors for<br>procuring material, services &amp; alternate solution with reasonable cost.<br>Software trouble shooting for various Application systems communication<br>(DCS,PLC)<br>Supporting new automation initiatives at Plant (e.g., local communication,<br>Enterprise Asset Management, Efficiency improvement tools etc)</p> </span>
