Ensuring that the Instruments/Equipments including DCS/PLC are maintained at best efficiency. Complying the statutory requirement with respect to weights & measurement, AERB etc. The Position is also responsible to implement capex in the plant as part of upgradation and productivity improvements. The Position is also responsible of procurement and technical evaluation of the tender. Ensure continuous running of the plant by <ul> <li>Adherence to calibration/PM schedule of Instruments</li> <li>Maintaining the assets in Asset like DCS, PLC, Field Instruments, CCTV, UPS etc. in best condition to enhance the useful life.</li> <li>Maintaining the history of maintenance record.</li> </ul> Breakdown Maintenance, to reduce breakdown and to increase availability <ul> <li>Review of the maintenance schedule</li> <li>Identify the root cause of failure</li> <li>Implementation of suitable corrective action and preventive action</li> <li>Review of the engineering personnel day to day activity.</li> <li>Coordinating with the cross functional team to achieve day’s target.</li> <li>Regular interaction with the team member to check compliance</li> <li>Release of Annual maintenance contract to maintain the equipment, review of AMC vendor.</li> </ul> ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 system <ul> <li>Training to the engineering personnel</li> <li>Implementation of the maintenance manual at shop floor</li> <li>Check on the process to ensure no deviations.</li> <li>Ensuring the strict adherence to safety requirement while performing the activities in the field</li> <li>Self- assessment of the process to be done to ensure compliance.</li> <li>Update of manual with best practice by change management processes.</li> <li>Regular check to ensure compliance</li> </ul> Critical Spare management. <ul> <li>Interacting with vendor for the spares, negotiation, and other technical discussion.</li> <li>Vendor evaluation and vendor selection</li> <li>Review and approve minimum inventory of critical spares.</li> </ul> Contractor management <ul> <li>Cost control and manpower control in terms of number of persons coming in the plant.</li> <li>Ensuring the statutory compliance by the contractor.</li> </ul> Capex implementation <ul> <li>Proposing the capex budget along with the user dept after making a plan</li> <li>Making budgetary proposal</li> <li>Planning and execution of the capex</li> <li>Review the progress of the capex projects</li> <li>Cost control</li> <li>Reporting the compliance as per plan</li> </ul> Cost monitoring <ul> <li>Review of the spend against budget</li> <li>Reporting the compliance and in case of any overshoot, Mitigation to be planned.</li> </ul> Networking /Liasoning and statutory compliance wrt weights & measurement, AERB etc.. <ul> <li>Review of the schedule</li> <li>Maintaining the certificates as required by the statutory authority</li> <li>Reporting deviations if any and plan for mitigation of the risk.</li> </ul> Calibration of Equipment and measuring equipment. <ul> <li>Planning and make a schedule</li> <li>Review the execution of the plan</li> <li>Reporting in case of any deviation and making the system right</li> <li>Ensuring statutory compliance is met.</li> </ul> DCS/PLC System <ul> <li>Checking the healthiness of DCS/PLC system on quarterly basis.</li> <li>Maintaining the original software & license required for DCS/PLC system</li> <li>Checking the interlocks for ensuring the healthiness</li> <li>Program Backups to be taken & maintained quarterly.</li> <li>Authorization for any changes required in DCS/MES.</li> </ul> </div></div></div>
