<div style="display: inline;">We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Technical Consultant to join our amazing team! In this role, you will support enterprise-wide initiatives, specializing in Mainframe Automation, including product migrations and optimization projects. If you're looking for a role that combines both technical and customer-facing (B2B enterprise) tasks; If you have deep technical expertise in mainframe automation platforms, strong system programming experience, and customer-facing delivery skills - This is the role for you!What You'll Do:<ul> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Deliver end-to-end mainframe automation projects for conversion (e.g., from third-party tools to BMC solutions) & provide technical assistance to our enterprise customers.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Design, implement and optimize mainframe automation solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Conduct tooling conversions (e.g., Broadcom/IBM solutions to BMC AMI suite), ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, customers, and technical teams, to ensure successful project delivery.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation, including design artefacts, deployment and testing strategies.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members where required.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Act as a customer-facing consultant, capable of translating technical concepts into business value.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Capable of troubleshooting and resolving complex mainframe automation issues.</li> </ul>Requirements:Core Technical Skills:<ul> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Strong Mainframe Systems Programming (SYSPROG) skills, including deep knowledge of z/OS environments.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Experience of installation and maintenance of AMI Ops products, SMP/E & JCL. </li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Proficiency in REXX scripting for automation and operational tooling.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Knowledge of SSM and Total Object manager.</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Hands-on experience with mainframe automation and monitoring tools, including: (Broadcom: OPS/MVS); (IBM: AF/OPER); (BMC: AMI Automation)</li> </ul>Specialist Experience:<ul> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Proven track record of end-to-end product migration/conversion projects, particularly from competitor tools to BMC solutions</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Experience designing and implementing automation strategies and monitoring frameworks</li> </ul>Professional Skills: <ul> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Ability to produce high-quality documentation</li> </ul>Proven ability to:<ul> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Work independently</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Collaborate effectively within a team environment</li> <li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Lead initiatives when required to ensure successful delivery</li><li style="color: rgb(50, 49, 48);">Strong project delivery mindset, with experience working to deadlines and milestones</li></ul></div>
