Assistant Manager - Broadcast IT

<div style="">This role provides Layer One support and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing both broadcast and IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:</div><div style=""><br></div><div style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Broadcast Automation Management</b>: Oversee and support automation systems, leveraging hands-on experience with ADC Automation, D-Series Automation, VIZRT graphics, and video servers from Harmonic, Imagine, and Grass Valley. Manage media workflows using DIVA Archive System and IBM Tape Library.</div><ul> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Network Configuration &amp; Support</b>: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Dell and Cisco switches, utilizing technologies such as VLT, VPC, Port Channels, and VLANs to ensure high network availability and performance.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Infrastructure Design &amp; Implementation</b>: Design robust LAN, WLAN, and WAN architectures to support seamless broadcast-IT integration, ensuring resilience and scalability.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Device Installation &amp; Configuration</b>: Set up routers, firewalls, and WiFi systems, ensuring optimal connectivity and security.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Performance Monitoring &amp; Troubleshooting</b>: Proactively monitor systems, resolve network and broadcast issues, and support both on-premises and cloud environments.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Documentation &amp; Compliance</b>: Maintain detailed documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Upgrade Recommendations</b>: Propose infrastructure enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and security.</li> <li style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Technical Liaison</b>: Act as a key communicator between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently.</li></ul> <h2>Skills and expertise</h2> <div style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Hands on Experience</b></div><div style="">Hands-on experience in Broadcast IT with ADC/D-Series Automation, VIZRT, Harmonic, Imagine, Grass Valley systems, DIVA Archive, IBM Tape Library, Dell/Cisco switches, VLANs, VLT, VPC, Port Channels, Firewalls..</div><div style=""><br></div><div style=""><b style="font-weight: 700">Skills&nbsp;</b></div><div style="">Knowledge of Protocols.<br>Knowledge in maintenance, usage, and design of Network Devices.</div>
