Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress and recommend corrective actions where necessary to meet project targets.
• Support the Team Leader / Project Manager in contract administration and reporting.
• Coordinate with specialists to ensure proper integration of highway, drainage, pavement, structural, and traffic safety works.

Required qualifications

• He/She should have minimum 15 years of professional engineering experience.
• He/She should have at least 5 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer.
• He/She should have at least 4 years experience with internationally financed road projects.

• Missions/Main Duties Ensure that works are executed in accordance with the contract documents, approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
• Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities for the highway construction project.
• Identify technical, construction, and contractual issues and assist in resolving them promptly.
• Issue site instructions and maintain proper site records, reports, and correspondence.
• Inspect ongoing works and ensure compliance with approved quality standards and procedures.
• Profile/Skills He/She should have degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• He/ She should have worked at least 4 years on similar construction works in hill areas, particularly in India.
• He/ She should also be familiar with Modern Total Station Survey and Construction techniques.
