<h1><b>Position:</b></h1>AWS SRE Lead<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description:</b></h1><h3>Key Responsibilities &amp; Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Lead SRE practices and initiatives</b> to improve availability, reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency of AWS-based applications and infrastructure.</li><li><b>Design and implement highly available and resilient AWS architectures</b>, with strong understanding of services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch, and other core AWS services.</li><li>Drive <b>DevOps automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</b> using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation/CDK, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python or Shell.</li><li>Design and manage <b>CI/CD pipelines</b> using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps platforms, with focus on deployment automation and release reliability.</li><li>Establish and improve <b>observability and monitoring practices</b>, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, and proactive detection using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or equivalent technologies.</li><li>Own and drive <b>incident, problem, and change management</b> processes, including production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and prevention of recurring incidents.</li><li>Define and track <b>SRE metrics and practices</b>, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, availability, latency, MTTR, MTBF, and capacity/utilization metrics.</li><li>Implement <b>automation and self-healing mechanisms</b> to eliminate repetitive operational activities, reduce manual intervention, and improve MTTR and overall system reliability.</li><li>Develop and maintain <b>backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, scalability, and capacity-management strategies</b> for critical AWS workloads and applications.</li><li><b>Lead and mentor SRE/DevOps engineers</b>, conduct technical reviews, establish engineering standards, collaborate with development/security/architecture teams, and continuously improve the organization&#39;s DevOps and SRE maturity.</li></ul><h3>Technology Stack / Expected Exposure</h3><ul><li><b>Cloud:</b> AWS</li><li><b>IaC:</b> Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK</li><li><b>CI/CD:</b> Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps</li><li><b>Containers:</b> Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS</li><li><b>Monitoring &amp; Observability:</b> CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch</li><li><b>Configuration/Automation:</b> Ansible</li><li><b>Scripting:</b> Python, Shell/Bash</li><li><b>Version Control:</b> Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket</li><li><b>Networking:</b> VPC, Load Balancers, Route 53, CloudFront, DNS, TCP/IP</li><li><b>SRE:</b> SLI/SLO/SLA, Error Budgets, Incident Management, RCA, Capacity Planning, DR</li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b> AWS certification such as <b>AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator</b>, along with hands-on experience managing large-scale production AWS environments.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Location:</b></h1>IN-GJ-Ahmedabad, India-Ognaj (eInfochips)<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Time Type:</b></h1>Full time<h1></h1><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Category:</b></h1>Engineering Services
