Senior Engineer AWS + SAP at Fractal

Design and build scalable data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift/EMR as applicable).

We are hiring a Data Engineer (+7 years) with strong expertise in AWS-based data engineering and CI/CD, combined with deep experience in SAP Native systems (HANA, BW, ABAP).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
• Extract and integrate data from SAP HANA, BW, and ABAP layers.
• Ensure automated deployments, version control, and environment stability.
• Monitor pipelines, perform incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Enforce data governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Core Skills
• Strong Data Engineering (Python, SQL, Spark optional)
• Deep experience with AWS data stack
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong SAP Native knowledge (HANA, BW, ABAP extraction logic)
• Experience in pipeline orchestration and monitoring
