• We harness the power of technology to deliver business value and help organizations accelerate their journey towards innovation As a SAP Basis Consultant, you will: Manage, administer and support SAP landscapes comprising SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA Database and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, patches, kernel upgrades and enhancement package implementations.
• Administer and monitor SAP application servers, HANA databases and related system components to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, conversion and migration projects, including system refreshes and client copy activities.
• Perform SAP transport management, landscape synchronization and change management activities across development, quality and production environments.
• Monitor system health, background jobs, work processes, interfaces and performance parameters to ensure business continuity.
• Administer SAP HANA databases including backup, recovery, replication, performance tuning and database maintenance.
• Manage user administration, technical authorizations and system connectivity for SAP applications.
• Support SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, Web Dispatcher, SAP Solution Manager and Cloud Connector configurations.
• Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for SAP environments.
• Support integration between SAP on-premise systems and SAP BTP services.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with functional, infrastructure and development teams for resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge repositories.
• Ensure SAP systems comply with organizational security, audit and compliance standards.
• Your Role – Job Responsibilities Own SAP Basis administration and technical support activities across SAP landscapes.
• Execute SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, refreshes and maintenance activities.
• Manage SAP HANA database administration including backups, restores, performance optimization and monitoring.
• Support S/4HANA transformation programs, implementation projects and production support engagements.
• Configure and maintain SAP BTP connectivity, Cloud Connector and hybrid integration scenarios.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve system performance, availability and infrastructure-related issues.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, cloud teams and external vendors for project execution.
• Plan and execute maintenance windows, patching activities and technical upgrades with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor system KPIs and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing, audit activities and compliance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Your Profile – Skills Required 4–12 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis Administration and Support.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, migration, Unicode conversion and system refresh activities.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA administration, backup and recovery, high availability, database replication and performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP Cloud Connector and connectivity architecture.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher and SSL certificate management.
• Knowledge of SAP transport management system (TMS), client administration and landscape management.
• Experience working with SAP Solution Manager, EarlyWatch Reports and system monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of operating systems such as Linux/Unix and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with SAP security concepts, user management and technical authorization administration.
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, system performance optimization and capacity planning.
• Exposure to SAP BTP services, SAP Integration Suite and cloud integration technologies is preferred.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration and AMS support projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
