The candidate should ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining optimal cost, quality, and delivery standards.</p><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to meet business requirements.</li><li>Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order execution.</li><li>Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams for material requirements.</li><li>Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.</li><li>Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.</li><li>Conduct cost-saving initiatives and annual rate negotiations.</li><li>Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.</li></ul><h4>Desired Skills</h4><ul><li>Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain, and inventory management.</li><li>Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or OEM environment preferred.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.</li><li>Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing functions.</li></ul></div>
