Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: - Design and support Oracle databases on Exadata and cloud platforms, including Oracle Database@Azure.

• Engineer high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions using RAC, Data Guard, and ZDLRA.
• Implement database security controls including TDE, Oracle Key Vault, auditing, and compliance standards.
• Automate database provisioning, patching, cloning, refreshes, and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and APIs.
• Support database migrations, GoldenGate replication, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for mission-critical Oracle databases.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation, platform upgrades, and technology modernization programs.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: - 7+ years of Oracle Database engineering or administration experience.

• Strong expertise with Oracle Database 19c/26ai, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata.
• Experience with TDE, Oracle Key Vault, and database security controls.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Shell).
• Experience supporting Linux-based database environments.
• Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Azure, OCI, or hybrid cloud architectures.
