Senior Designer, Engineering

The Impact You'll Make As a Senior Designer within the Aeroquip Business Unit, you'll play an important role in supporting the development and maintenance of Fluid Conveyance products used in hydraulic applications around the world. Working as part of the Aeroquip Engineering team at Danfoss India Innovation Center, Pune, you'll create high-quality engineering models and drawings that help ensure product consistency, reliability, and performance across global markets. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions to deliver accurate design documentation and engineering support. Your expertise in CAD tools and engineering standards will help accelerate product development, improve design quality, and support a more standardized and efficient engineering environment. What You’ll Be Doing - Create and maintain 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Siemens NX, Creo (Pro/E), AutoCAD, and other CAD tools while ensuring compliance with established engineering standards and data management requirements.

• Perform drawing reviews and checks using defined quality processes, applying GD&T principles and tolerance stack-up analysis in accordance with ASME and ISO standards.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support product development, design updates, and engineering documentation activities.
• Support Fluid Conveyance product design activities, particularly within hose fittings, connectors, and hydraulic application domains, while identifying opportunities to improve design efficiency and quality.
• Continuously evaluate design challenges and improvement opportunities, providing recommendations that enhance standardization, accuracy, and overall engineering effectiveness.

What We're Looking For - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a strong academic record and hands-on experience creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and/or Creo (Pro/E).

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensioning practices, and engineering documentation standards.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Pro/E (Creo), AutoCAD, and related design software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, PDM/PLM systems, and ERP-based bill of material (BOM) processes.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fluid Conveyance products, hose fittings, connectors, hydraulic systems, design automation, or CAD customization tools will be considered an advantage What You'll Get from Us
