Technical Manager

<h3>DevOps Engineer:</h3><p><strong>Role summary</strong><br>Build the pipelines, automation and monitoring that move database and application changes safely through every environment, up to production cutover.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Build CI/CD pipelines for database code, application changes and infrastructure code.</li><li>Add DevSecOps controls: code and security scanning, secrets handling and approval gates.</li><li>Automate environment promotion (Dev, SIT, UAT, Stage, Prod) and the cutover runbook steps.</li><li>Set up monitoring and alerting (uptime, replication lag, errors) with alerts to PagerDuty and email.</li><li>Automate deployments, rollbacks and test runs with the QA team.</li><li>Keep this project's code in step with other teams' releases (compare and merge before each phase deployment).</li><li>Maintain runbooks and release documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years in DevOps, with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines or similar).</li><li>Scripting (Bash or Python) and Git branching and merge workflows.</li><li>Monitoring tools and alert design.</li><li>Working knowledge of AWS and Terraform pipelines.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>Database change tooling (Liquibase or Flyway).</li><li>Security scanning tools (Guardium or similar).</li><li>Experience with PostgreSQL or CDC pipelines.</li><li>Healthcare or regulated environments.</li></ul>
