Technical Manager

<h3>1. Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud):</h3><p><strong>Role summary</strong><br>Build the target AWS environment and PostgreSQL platform for the Sybase migration, inside Carelon's NextGen landing zone. You own the platform that the application and data teams run on.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provision the Dev, SIT, UAT, Stage and Prod environments: compute, storage, networking and private connectivity.</li><li>Set up IAM roles, access and encryption (KMS, TLS) to Elevance security standards.</li><li>Build the PostgreSQL / Lakebase environments, including hardening and sizing.</li><li>Design and test HA, DR, backups and second-region replication.</li><li>Set up network paths between Sybase (on-prem), AWS and Databricks.</li><li>Fix infrastructure vulnerabilities so no Critical or High findings remain at go-live.</li><li>Support cutover and rollback at the infrastructure level.</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years in cloud infrastructure, with strong AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, KMS, networking).</li><li>Terraform or similar infrastructure as code.</li><li>Linux administration and scripting.</li><li>Solid grounding in security, encryption and disaster recovery.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>PostgreSQL or Aurora platform experience.</li><li>Databricks exposure.</li><li>Healthcare (HIPAA) environments.</li><li>AWS Solutions Architect certification.</li></ul>
