CFD Engineer

Job Description: As a CFD Engineer , you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer for advanced aerial platforms. You will work extensively with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to simulate real-world aerodynamic conditions, contributing to the development of high-performance UAVs and aerial systems. The role involves conducting thermal and aerodynamic analyses, optimizing aircraft designs, and collaborating with the R&D team to enhance efficiency and performance. Location: R&D facility @C/O Startup Incubation and Innovation Center(SIIC-IITK), IIT Kanpur Employment Type : Full-time Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 1 year experience Skills Required : Strong knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) principles and techniques. Experience in thermal analysis, heat transfer, aerodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Proficiency in CFD software tools . Experience in aircraft design optimization and performance analysis. Familiarity with turbulence modeling, meshing techniques, and solver settings. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
