Job Description – Finance Analyst Team: BFM – GGM (Global Growth Markets) Location: Chennai Work Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST Employment Type: Full-time Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred About the Role - Ascendion finance is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the BFM team supporting the GGM organisation. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong Excel and automation skills who can translate raw data into meaningful financial insights, streamline recurring reporting processes, and support commercial pricing templates Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and automate Excel-based financial models and trackers using advanced formulas and VBA/macros
• Assist in customer pricing models in excel, analyse P&L line items
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into clean, review-ready reports
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and data requests from BFM leadership
• Maintain data integrity and version control across recurring reporting cycles
• Collaborate with cross-functional finance and pre-sales, delivery stakeholders across geographies Required Qualifications
• Education: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in a finance/FP&A/BFM function with good exposure to excel models, templates
• Technical Skills: o Advanced MS Excel (formulas, pivot, data modeling) o Hands-on experience writing and maintaining VBA macros to automate Excel workflows
• Good to Have: Working knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools Ideal Candidate Profile
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working independently on time-bound deliverables
• Process-oriented, with a genuine interest in automating and simplifying manual finance tasks
