Data Engineer

Job Description< We are looking for experienced Data Engineering Consultants with strong Snowflake and Data Warehousing expertise to support our ongoing data platform initiatives.< < Key Responsibilities< · Independently drive & lead end-to-end data engineering deliverables with minimal guidance.< · Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines, data integration solutions< · Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions< · Provide production support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, problems, and changes< · Ensure data quality and consistency across systems< · Work with Product teams to refine and prioritize backlog< · Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management< Mandatory Skills< · 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Engineering< · 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience preferred. Strong SQL developers with solid data engineering/modelling experience and an interest in learning Snowflake< · Strong expertise in Snowflake features (Streams, Snowpipe, Tasks, Snowpark etc.)< · Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema)< · Strong SQL and relational database knowledge< · Experience with data pipelines and integration (Knowledge in ADO, GitHub, Liquibase is good)< · Experience in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments< · Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming tools< Good to Have< · Experience with low-latency data platforms< · Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks< · Exposure to Financial Services / Blockchain domain< Expectations< · Strong ownership and accountability< · Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills< · Proactive mindset with ability to learn and take responsibility
