Oracle Project Manager

Job Title Project Manager - Oracle Expected Work Experience 10 to 14 Years Job Location India Job Summary The Project Manager - Oracle will be responsible for leading end-to-end Oracle projects, with a strong focus on project management, Oracle domain expertise, and functional change management. Candidate must have relevant experience of 10 to 14 Years. The role involves managing project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of Oracle solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Oracle projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Oversee areas of project management specific to Oracle implementations, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality.
• Drive change management (functional) activities to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle solutions by business users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for Oracle projects.
• Coordinate with Oracle functional and technical teams to ensure integrated and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Manage project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communication for Oracle-related initiatives.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues related to Oracle implementations and change management.
• Ensure adherence to organizational project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Support impact assessment, business readiness, and training activities associated with Oracle functional changes.
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to align Oracle project outcomes with strategic and operational goals.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) for project management activities such as meeting summaries, documentation, and status reporting within Oracle projects.
• Proven ability to identify, design, and implement AI or automation use cases within Oracle projects (including for planning, execution, and data migration), and to measure and communicate their impact on project delivery.
• Strong awareness of AI and automation capabilities relevant to Oracle ecosystems, with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and govern these technologies in project contexts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in Project Management (Oracle) with focus on areas of project management and functional change management.
• Strong Oracle-domain knowledge, preferably with exposure to multiple Oracle modules or solutions.
• Demonstrated experience managing Oracle projects in a similar role, preferably within large or complex environments.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to lead functional change management initiatives, including communication, training coordination, and user adoption support.
• Relevant academic qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Hands-on understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including the ability to articulate key differences between Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and to manage projects involving cloud-based Oracle solutions.
• Demonstrated capability to evaluate, select, and use AI tools and automation platforms in conjunction with Oracle solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.
