Mould Designer

The Mould Designer will be responsible for designing and developing precision moulds for the manufacturing of medical devices. This role involves working closely with the production and R&D teams to ensure moulds are optimized for high-quality and efficient production. The candidate should have expertise in mould design software and a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop moulds for the production of medical devices. Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure moulds meet quality and functional standards. Utilize CAD and CAM software for precise mould design. Optimize mould designs to improve production efficiency and minimize material waste. Troubleshoot and refine moulds during the production process. Work with toolmakers to ensure moulds are built according to specifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mould design and development, preferably for medical devices. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of materials and injection moulding processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
