Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities Retail Sales Achieve sales targets for GVT products in the assigned territory Appoint, manage, and expand the dealer/distributor network Ensure product visibility, merchandising, and brand presence at dealer counters Execute promotional schemes, product launches, and market activation programs Monitor competition, pricing trends, and market dynamics Projects / Institutional Sales Identify, develop, and manage projects business including builders, developers, contractors, and institutions Build strong relationships with architects, consultants, PMC, and key influencers Handle end-to-end project lifecycle: specification, negotiation, order execution, and dispatch coordination Ensure timely conversion of specifications into orders Track project pipelines and achieve project sales targets Business Operations Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit norms Prepare sales MIS, forecasts, and market intelligence reports Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, technical, and finance) for smooth execution Candidate Profile Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred) 6–10 years of experience in ceramics / tiles / building materials , with exposure to Retail and Projects sales Strong understanding of GVT products and project specifications Proven ability to manage channels and close large-value project deals Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel extensively across Ahmedabad & North Gujarat Key Competencies Result-driven with strong execution skills Relationship building across trade and project stakeholders Strategic thinking with hands-on approach Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Role details Location Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Posted Jan 16, 2026 Seniority Mid-level Hiring process 1 AI Video Interview More from Somany Ceramics Tiles Deputy Manager-Export Marketing Noida Senior Territory Manager
