About the Role We are seeking a motivated Hardware Engineer to join our team designing the Power electronics and signal conditioning circuits at the heart of Solar Edge’s advanced energy storage products. This is a hands-on design role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines of converter design, signal conditioning circuits, grounding, EMI, robust communication, accurate sensing and measurement — and in how these are verified at the board and full-system level. What You’ll Be Doing Designing Embedded Electronics Hardware for Battery Management Systems under the guidance of Senior engineers, from concept through mass production for Battery energy storage products. Designing Power electronics converter circuits for Battery Energy storage products. Designing accurate measurements, robust communication, grounding, and power distribution — at both board and system level. Supporting verification and characterization of designs, on the bench and within the complete system. Participating in design reviews and growing your technical craft. Working in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating across departments and sites. B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics Or related Engineering Streams. Masters/Ph D is Preferred. 3+ years of hands-on Power electronics HW design and Signal conditioning circuits, taken to mass production. Solid foundation in analog measurement and understanding of accuracy, error sources, calibration. Understanding of designing protection circuits (overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit). Basic Knowledge of power electronics and DC-DC converters (Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward). Familiarity in simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, or PSIM. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and lab bring-up skills, with a systematic verification mindset. Basic understanding of grounding, return-path, and power-distribution design. Familiarity with communication links (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, differential). Strong command of AI tools and a demonstrated ability to leverage them to accelerate engineering work — analysis, documentation, scripting, and debugging. Good documentation Habits. Advantageous Qualifications Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or energy storage technologies (Li-Ion, Solid State, etc.). Understanding of thermal management in electronic designs. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in electronics (CE, UL, etc.). How can we help you?
