Cloud Associate - Data Engineering

Jb Description: We are seeking a Cloud Associate specializing in Data Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years in data engineering roles, focusing on cloud platforms. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the analytics needs of the organization. Your primary duty will be to enable data-driven decision-making by providing reliable data solutions in a cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and identify key metrics.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and store large volumes of data.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of data solutions on cloud platforms.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide support in data extraction and manipulation.
• Participate in troubleshooting and performance tuning of data processing jobs.

Skills and Tools Required: - Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or Apache Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python/Java - Experience implementing ETL pipelines using ETL tools/platforms - Migration project experience is an added advantage - Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.
