ServiceNow Software Engineer

<p><b>Job Summary.</b></p><p>We are seeking a skilled <b>ServiceNow Developer</b> to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, follow best practices, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.</p><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices</li><li>Customize ServiceNow applications using <b>Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer</b></li><li>Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules such as <b>ÏTSM</b>, <b>CSM, APO</b>, <b>MCO,</b> <b>Finance Management, Employee Centre.</b></li><li>Build and support <b>integrations</b> using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub</li><li>Create and manage<b> workflows, FlowDesinger and ETL, Integration Hub, DataFabric/Zero Copy Connectors, tranformation</b></li><li>Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of platform issues</li><li>Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases</li><li>Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements</li><li>Follow SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and change management processes</li><li>Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles</li></ul><h3><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>3+ years of hands-on <b>ServiceNow development experience</b></li><li>Strong experience with <b>JavaScript, REST/SOAP</b> APIs and integrations</li></ul><p>(server-side and client-side)</p><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture</li><li>Experience with (Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash lifecycle,<b> </b>Accounts payable, Accounts receivable etc)</li><li>Familiarity with <b>CMDB and ITSM</b></li><li>Experience with other Application would be plus like ITOM, HRSD.</li><li>Understanding of <b>ACLs, roles, and security best practices</b></li><li>Experience working in <b>Agile/Scrum</b> environments</li></ul><p><b>referred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>ServiceNow certifications such as:<ul><li><b>Certified System Administrator (CSA)</b></li><li><b>Certified Application Developer (CAD)</b></li><li>Module-specific certifications (CSM, ITSM, MCO etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Experience with <b>ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting</b></li><li>Knowledge of <b>UI Builder, Service Portal, and Workspace configuration</b></li><li>Exposure to <b>DevOps, CI/CD, and ATF (Automated Test Framework)</b></li></ul><br><p><b>Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & Belonging</b><br>Ecolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
