Lead Cloud Solution Architect

<p><b>Core Job Responsibilities:</b></p><p>

• Responsible for developing, running and continuously refining an easy-to-use, modern and lean/cost-effective cloud based products for Abbott EPD, together with a team of data scientists, cloud engineers and product managers.</p><br /><p>
• Understand key priorities of the business in terms of smart automation and advanced analytics scope- Ability to translate these needs into requirements for the cloud platform and implement these in an efficient, compliant, scalable and cost-effective manner.</p><br /><p>
• Define and implement required standards within EPD in collaboration with key stakeholders such Data privacy, Cyber Security and Compliance to ensure compliant data activities end-to-end.</p><br /><p>
• Own end-to-end architecture across frontend (React Native / React JS), AWS backend, GenAI modules, and databases.</p><br /><p>
• Design authentication (Microsoft Entra ID, Cognito) and authorization (SailPoint–AD, Lambda authorizers).</p><br /><p>
• Architect GenAI/RAG and agentic workflows using LangGraph.</p><br /><p>
• Set quality standards — test frameworks, automation, and CI/CD quality gates.</p><br /><p>
• Own non-functional testing: performance/load (JMeter), code quality (SonarQube), API security (Akamai/Noname), infra security (Prisma Cloud).</p><br /><p>
• Support DevOps deployment via Terraform, plus observability, cost control, latency, and security.</p><br /><p>
• Produce and maintain architecture and solution design documentation.</p><br /><p><b>Minimum Experience:</b></p><ul><li>At least 8-12 years of relevant working experience, ideally in pharma environment</li><li>Team management experience (vendor and internal) in the area of cloud applications and solutions architecture</li><li>Strong architectural skills to enable modern, lean scalable cloud applications</li><li>Strong hands-on architecture across React Native / React JS and AWS services.</li><li>Experience with authentication/authorization (Entra, Cognito, SailPoint, Lambda authorizers).</li><li>GenAI/RAG delivery experience (LangGraph a plus).</li><li>Databases: Databricks platform, PostgreSQL, RDS, DynamoDB.</li><li>Quality engineering exposure — JMeter, BrowserStack, SonarQube, Akamai API security, Prisma.</li><li>IaC and DevOps with Terraform; strong Information Security understanding.</li><li>Experience in working with and leading external teams to help implement solutions</li><li>Proven ability to work across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, extracting information and identifying linkages across disparate data sets</li><li>Strong understanding of Information Security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of data</li><li>High proficiency in at least one programming language – Javascript/ Python.</li><li>Strong experience and interest in Cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and all its services and ecosystem</li><li>Proficiency in architecting, building and maintaining cost-efficient and scalable cloud environments</li><li>Ability to understand business and create cloud-based solutions to fill those objectives</li></ul>
