Junior IT Business Analyst

<h2 style="color:!important"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></h2><p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p><p>

• Support the creation, review, and maintenance of functional requirements for software features and enhancements.<br />
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, quality engineers, and subject matter experts to gather, document, refine, and validate business and user requirements.<br />
• Coordinate and collaborate with globally distributed team members across PST and IST time zones to support requirements activities, project deliverables, and cross-functional communication.<br />
• Create and maintain requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, process flows, traceability artifacts, and related project documentation.<br />
• Work under the guidance and direction of senior engineers and business analysts to complete assigned deliverables and develop domain expertise.<br />
• Independently perform assigned assessments, including impact analyses, gap analyses, requirements evaluations, and documentation reviews, and communicate findings to stakeholders.<br />
• Support investigation of proposed enhancements, defects, and process improvements by gathering information, assessing impacts, and documenting recommendations.<br />
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide requirements clarification to development and verification teams throughout the software development lifecycle.<br />
• Support evaluation of implemented functionality against documented requirements and assist with issue investigation activities.<br />
• Develop knowledge of assigned products, business processes, and system functionality to effectively support project activities and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><br /><p><b>Key Skills for Success in This Role</b></p><p>
• <b>Requirements Management Experience:</b><br />2-3 years of experience supporting the development, documentation, and maintenance of business, system, software, or related requirements.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:</b><br />Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements by working with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration:</b><br />Ability to communicate requirements, questions, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Guidance and Independent Execution:</b><br />Ability to work effectively under the direction of senior engineers and business analysts while independently completing assigned assessments, analyses, and deliverables.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Analytical Thinking:</b><br />Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business processes, identify gaps, assess impacts, and recommend solutions.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Organization and Attention to Detail:</b><br />Ability to maintain high-quality documentation, manage multiple assignments, and ensure completeness and accuracy of work products.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Learning and Knowledge Development:</b><br />Ability to quickly learn new products, processes, technologies, and business domains through research, documentation review, and stakeholder engagement.</p><br /><p>
• <b>Initiative and Ownership:</b><br />Demonstrates accountability for assigned tasks, proactively seeks clarification when needed, and drives work products to completion.</p><br /><p><b>Preferred Experience:</b></p><p>
• Experience creating requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, or related business analysis artifacts.<br />
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.<br />
• Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Jira, or equivalent.<br />
• Experience working in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries.<br />
• Experience working with medical devices, specifically related to St.

Jude Medical/Abbott Pacemakers, ICDs, and ICMs, is a plus.</p>
