SW Test Engineer II

<p><b>Job Summary</b></p><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high software quality.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Automation Testing</b></p><p> Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.<br /> Create and execute automated test scripts.<br /> Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.</p><p><b>Test Design & Execution</b></p><p> Analyse functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases.<br /> Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required.<br /> Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.</p><p><b>Collaboration & Agile Practices</b></p><p> Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)<br /> Provide timely status updates and test reports</p><p><b>Quality Assurance Best Practices</b></p><p> Implement and follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies<br /> Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications<br /> Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements</p><p><b>Required Technical Skills</b></p><p><b>Programming & Automation</b></p><p> Strong proficiency in Python.<br /> Hands-on experience with automation frameworks.</p><p><b> Testing Knowledge</b></p><p> Solid understanding of:<br /> SDLC & STLC<br /> Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)</p><p> Experience in:<br /> Functional Testing<br /> Regression Testing<br /> Integration Testing<br /> System Testing</p><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><p> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br /> Excellent communication and teamwork abilities<br /> Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset<br />* Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment</p><p> </p>
