Cloud SW Engineer II

<p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><b><span style="font-size:inherit">MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE</span></b></span></p><p>The Software developer / Engineer role creates, maintains and debugs C# application code, API interfaces and database functions. The primary function of this role is the development of applications that process, ingest and transform data as well as to create/maintain user interfaces.</p><p>Software Developer / Engineer</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>- Develop interfaces, applications and other technical solutions<br />- Creation and modification C# software source code, SQL scripts, and procedures.<br />- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and juggle priorities as needed.<br />- Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.<br />- Design and implement various database queries, stored procedures, etc.<br />- Support implementation, enhancement, and modifications to test cases, procedures, scripts, and code.<br />- Contribute to and support gathering, analyzing, and validating requirements.<br />- Working from requirement specifications, develop, maintain, and update detailed design and interface specifications.<br />- Contribute to and support root-cause analysis of failures.<br />- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.<br />- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.<br />- Identify and routinely use the most effective, cost-efficient, and best practice to execute processes; continually evaluate their effectiveness and appropriateness, and promote the process of continuous quality improvement and risk management.</p><p> </p><p>Experience and Skills</p><p>- Total combined experience: 3+ years. Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline)<br />- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Visual Studio (C#/VB.NET)<br />- 3+ years’ experience in database development (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)<br />- Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Microservices<br />- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming<br />- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns<br />- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#<br />- Proficient with Microsoft PostgreSQL and SQL Server<br />- Strong troubleshooting skills.<br />- Ability to Debug and isolate software problems.<br />- Experience ASP.NET / Internet Information Services (IIS)<br />- Knack for writing clean, readable C# code<br />- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application<br />- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes<br />- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests<br />- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Source Control Software)<br />- Familiarity with continuous integration.</p>
