The ideal candidate delivers high quality, efficient, and testable code while adhering to established architectural standards. This role is well suited for someone who demonstrates strong technical expertise, a commitment to continuous improvement with AI tools, and the ability to collaborate across teams. <h2 class="job-details-subheadline">What you have</h2> Required Qualifications<ul><li>8+ years of related work experience or bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related work experience. </li><li>4+ years’ experience with developing Java, Spring-Boot, Spring Framework, Cloud based development, </li><li>Rest and Micro Services and Micro-UI development. </li><li>4+ years of Experience with SQL/NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB 5.0 etc.) </li><li>4+ years of Experience with RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and integration patterns (RabbitMQ, KAFKA) </li><li>Strong expertise in system design from mid-scale to enterprise application design. </li><li>Strong ability to take proposed architecture and/or leadership goals and translate them into detailed </li><li>technical design documents and lay out the solution roadmap for the engineering teams. </li><li>Strong ability to Design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, </li><li>security, and performance. </li><li>Experience coaching junior, staff level developers. </li><li>Experience in the full SDLC including delivery. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly. </li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in a Scaled Agile environment.</li><li>Understands security, scaling, performance, and availability concerns. </li><li>1-3 years’ experience with Atlassian tool suites Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication and problem resolution skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Strong experience with cloud native development, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). </li><li>Strong Experience with continuous build process using GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins </li><li>Strong experience with performance engineering, monitoring, and related tooling (e.g., AppDynamics, </li><li>Splunk, Grafana, PCF metrics). </li><li>Experience with modern development practices such as test-driven (TDD) or behavior driven development (BDD) </li><li>Familiarity with test frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium.</li></ul> <div class=""><h2 class="job-details-subheadline">What’s in it for you </h2>At Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
