Senior Lead Software Engineer, Agentic AI Platforms

You will establish architectures, coding harnesses and reusable libraries that enable coding agents to work effectively across complex development environments. You will guide technical decisions, coordinate cross-functional delivery and help teams adopt reliable AI-assisted engineering practices. Success means creating durable platform capabilities, resolving undefined technical challenges and accelerating responsible software delivery. </span></p><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#133d59"><b>What You Will Be Doing </b></span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Establish technical patterns for coding agents, harnesses, reusable libraries and automated engineering workflows. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Design secure Model Context Protocol servers and integration frameworks for enterprise tools and data. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Define standards for evaluating, testing, monitoring and governing AI-generated software. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Guide teams building scalable solutions with Python, TypeScript and cloud-native technologies. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Resolve complex architecture, integration, debugging, performance and reliability challenges. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Shape technical roadmaps that align platform investments with engineering and business priorities. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Lead code and design reviews to improve quality, maintainability, security and operational readiness. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Partner with implementation and client-facing teams to diagnose needs and deliver effective solutions. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Mentor engineers and communicate technical practices across teams and organizational boundaries. </span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#133d59"><b>What you will need </b></span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Expert software engineering skills across application architecture, integration, testing and production operations. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Advanced proficiency with Python, TypeScript or comparable languages used for platform development. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience leading complex software initiatives involving multiple systems, teams and stakeholder groups. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Demonstrated success building developer platforms, coding frameworks, automation systems or reusable libraries. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, distributed systems, APIs, security and software reliability. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Ability to define technical standards and influence decisions without relying on direct authority. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. </span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#133d59"><b>Added bonus if you have </b></span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Advanced experience with agentic programming, coding agents or large language model application architecture. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience developing Model Context Protocol servers, tools, registries or governance patterns. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Knowledge of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode or comparable AI engineering tools. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience establishing evaluation, observability and safety controls for enterprise AI workflows. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Client-facing engineering experience spanning implementation, technical discovery and complex troubleshooting. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Experience contributing to long-term technology strategy or enterprise engineering standards. </span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#133d59"><b>What We Offer you </b></span></p><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000">At FIS, you can grow your career as far as you want to take it.
