Join us to make your contribution. </div> <div>AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of<strong> Product Cost Engineer</strong></div> <div> </div> <div> <p>Responsible for should costing of components using aPriori software (Hydraulics &amp; Electronics,Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting processes)</p> </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Your Impact </strong></div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Perform should-cost modelling to estimate product costs and identify potential design modifications for cost reduction. </p> </li> <li> <p>Develop should-costing models and manufacturing process maps for key commodities including Hydraulics &amp; Electronics,Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting and wire harness.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrate strong understanding of the relationship between manufacturing processes/operations, geometric features, cycle time, and cost impact.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate closely with engineering team sharing key takeaways from cost modelling and analysis work to inform design decisions from component level through full assembly techniques</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain good awareness of current market rates for materials and manufacturing processes &amp; equipment/machines. </p> </li> </ul> <div> </div> <div><strong>Your Experience and Qualifications </strong></div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering</li> <li>6+years of work experience in Automotive/ Off-Highway/ Construction/ Agriculture industry or with a Supplier providing commodities to these industries (Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting and wire harness)</li> <li>4+ years of experience in aPriori, Creo and windchill tools.</li> <li>Should costing and process mapping expertise in commodities Sheet metal, Metal Fabrication, Machining, Painting, Wire harness etc </li> </ul> <div> </div> <div><strong>Your Benefits </strong></div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <div>GLOBAL DIVERSITY – Diversity means many things to us, different brands, cultures, nationalities, genders, generations – even variety in our roles.
