This strategic leadership role will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing engineering team that supports AGCO's global Electronics, Software &amp; Functional (EFG) Engineering organization.The successful candidate will drive engineering excellence across electronics, software, electrical systems, model-based engineering, digital engineering, and emerging AI-enabled development practices while collaborating closely with global teams across Europe, North America, and South America.This is a unique opportunity to shape AGCO's future engineering capabilities and create a best-cost global engineering hub that delivers innovative and scalable solutions for next-generation agricultural machinery.</p> <hr> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Build &amp; Scale Engineering Organization</h3> <ul> <li>Establish and grow AGCO's Electronics, Software &amp; Electrical Engineering team in India.</li> <li>Define organizational structure, capability requirements, and workforce plans.</li> <li>Lead recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.</li> <li>Foster collaboration with global engineering teams across Europe, North America, and Brazil.</li> </ul> <h3>Engineering Leadership &amp; Delivery</h3> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end development activities across electronics, software, and electrical engineering.</li> <li>Drive engineering execution aligned with AGCO's product development system and V-cycle development methodology.</li> <li>Ensure delivery excellence, quality, and operational efficiency.</li> </ul> <h3>Model-Based &amp; Digital Engineering</h3> <ul> <li>Drive adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model-Based Design (MBD).</li> <li>Lead implementation of Digital Twin, simulation, and virtual validation capabilities.</li> <li>Establish modern engineering practices that improve quality and reduce development cycles.</li> </ul> <h3>Electrical &amp; Software Systems Development</h3> <ul> <li>Oversee software architecture, embedded software development, and electrical system design.</li> <li>Lead integration of electronic, electrical, and software systems into machine platforms.</li> <li>Support user interface development and advanced engineering solutions.</li> </ul> <h3>AI &amp; Engineering Transformation</h3> <ul> <li>Champion AI-enabled engineering practices across the organization.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI.</li> <li>Drive innovation in software development, testing, validation, and systems engineering.</li> </ul> <h3>People Leadership</h3> <ul> <li>Build, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.</li> <li>Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Establish performance objectives and development plans.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience</h2> <ul> <li>Becholer's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.</li> <li>12-18 Years engineering leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.</li> <li>Strong experience in embedded systems and software development.</li> <li>Deep knowledge of: <ul> <li>Software Architecture</li> <li>Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)</li> <li>Model-Based Design (MBD)</li> <li>Simulation &amp; Virtual Validation</li> <li>Electrical Systems Development</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience establishing or scaling engineering organizations.</li> <li>Experience working in global, cross-functional environments.</li> <li>International collaboration experience with European engineering organizations is highly preferred.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Preferred Experience</h2> <ul> <li>Building and managing engineering teams in India.</li> <li>Digital Twin implementation.</li> <li>AI-assisted engineering and software development.</li> <li>Complex electronics and software development programs.</li> <li>Agricultural, automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or heavy machinery industries.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Success Measures</h2> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Building and scaling AGCO's Electronics, Software &amp; Electrical Engineering capability in India.</li> <li>Delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.</li> <li>Accelerating adoption of MBSE, MBD, Digital Twin, and AI-enabled engineering practices.</li> <li>Developing a highly engaged and high-performing engineering organization.</li> <li>Enabling strong collaboration with AGCO's global engineering network.</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Why Join AGCO?</h2> <p>At AGCO, you'll help shape the future of sustainable agriculture while working with cutting-edge technologies, global teams, and industry-leading engineering experts.
