Assistant Manager - Security

This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative leader who is passionate about innovative security solutions and committed to maintaining the highest standards of protection and professionalism.</p><ul><li>Oversee and manage daily security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment across all property areas</li><li>Supervise, train, and mentor security personnel while promoting adherence to company policies, industry best practices, and local regulations</li><li>Monitor and analyze surveillance systems, access control points, and security equipment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative measures</li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns while maintaining composure and transparency</li><li>Conduct regular security patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, back-of-house, perimeter zones, and restricted access points</li><li>Prepare comprehensive and detailed incident reports and maintain meticulous security documentation for management review and compliance</li><li>Coordinate effectively with local law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during critical situations</li><li>Conduct thorough security risk assessments and develop innovative solutions to enhance overall property protection</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with all security protocols, safety regulations, health standards, and organizational standard operating procedures</li><li>Manage access control systems, key distribution, visitor management procedures, and maintain accurate records</li><li>Provide regular security briefings, updates, and performance reviews to senior management and relevant departments</li><li>Investigate security breaches, theft, suspicious activities, and implement corrective actions with analytical rigor</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive security matters, guest information, and proprietary procedures</li><li>Support team development through coaching, feedback, and inclusive leadership practices</li></ul>

<p>Required Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of professional security experience in a corporate, hospitality, or similar organizational setting</li><li>Proven supervisory or management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop security teams</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of security systems, access control technologies, surveillance equipment, and monitoring tools</li><li>Excellent incident response and crisis management capabilities with sound decision-making skills under pressure</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, health and safety regulations, and organizational operational standards</li><li>Proficiency in security documentation, report writing, record-keeping procedures, and data analysis</li><li>Valid security license or certification as required by local, state, and national regulations in India</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal stakeholders</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism</li><li>Physical fitness and capability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call availability</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Experience conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis</li><li>Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques</li><li>Familiarity with security management software and digital documentation systems</li><li>Training and mentoring experience with security personnel</li><li>Understanding of local Kochi security landscape and regional regulatory requirements</li><li>Certification in advanced security management or related professional development</li><li>Experience in a customer-focused environment with emphasis on guest relations and service excellence</li></ul>
