You are passionate about design and technology and committed to doing things properly to avoid tech debt. • Participate in team prioritisation discussions with Product/Business stakeholders. • Estimate and own delivery tasks (dev, test, deployment, configuration, documentation) to meet the business requirements. • Drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within their team when required. • Report status and manage risks within their primary application/service. • Drive integration of services focusing on customer journey and experience • Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interacting with Product owners. • Understands operational and engineering experience and actively works to improve experience and metrics in the ownership area. • Develop a complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems. • Drive adoption of technology standards and opinionated frameworks, and review coding, test, and automation work of team members • Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members. Test Automation & Framework Development • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated validation frameworks. Engineering Excellence • Review test architecture, automation code, and quality solutions. • Drive shift-left quality practices. • Participate in design reviews and provide quality-focused recommendations during architecture discussions. All About You Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. • 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering with exposure to entire SDLC. • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Java Script. • Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up. • Strong experience with: ◦ REST APIs ◦ Microservices ◦ Event-driven architectures ◦ Distributed systems ◦ Cloud-native applications • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Git Lab, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or equivalent. • Experience with automation tools such as: ◦ Selenium ◦ Playwright ◦ Cypress ◦ Rest Assured ◦ Postman • Good understanding of Data build tool (DBT) testing to ensure data quality, reliability, and accuracy across data engineering pipelines. • Strong experience with SQL and data analysis and validation. • Strong understanding of Agile and Dev Ops practices.
