JOBVERIFY METHODOLOGY
How we collect, classify and explain hiring information
Jobverify combines employer career-source listings with clearly labelled analytics.
Sources and provenance
Our collection pipeline reads configured company career pages and recruiting-platform endpoints. Each public job links to its stored employer source and shows when our collector last observed it when that time is available. That timestamp records collection, not a recruiter's confirmation, a manual review, or the employer's original publication date. Jobverify is an independent discovery service and does not represent the employers it lists.
Employer statements and automated interpretation
Descriptions and qualification fields originate in the collected listing and may be cleaned, structured or rewritten by our processing pipeline. Discovery labels such as job type, experience category, skills and location are extracted or classified automatically. A label does not certify that a student, graduation cohort or degree is accepted. We show the original experience statement when it was retained; otherwise we ask readers to check the employer page. Missing salary, dates or requirements are left unspecified.
Current listings and availability
Public queries include active India-scope listings subject to the site's visibility settings. The observation and publication feeds also exclude a closing date that has passed. Collection lifecycle checks can expire postings that disappear from successful source checks. A source failure is not proof a vacancy closed. Application availability checks cover supported sources; an available link is not a promise that the employer is still accepting applications. The current employer page remains the reference when you apply.
Counting and historical observations
Each stored listing contributes one count. Deduplication uses the collection pipeline's job fingerprint; separate requisitions may remain separate. Companies are grouped case-insensitively, locations by stored city label, and types by the public classification. Rankings show up to ten groups. They do not measure headcount, all vacancies, or the total Indian labour market. Daily observations start when this archive is enabled, use India calendar dates, and are not backdated. Capture waits while the main collection pipeline is running; source status totals describe the last checks available at capture.
Comparisons use only earlier observations with the same public visibility scope and counting version. A changed source mix or data cleanup can still affect the difference. No prior observation means no historical trend.
Editorial responsibility
Jobverify administrators manage source health, public listing visibility and correction investigations. Automated analytics describe the tracked dataset and do not claim employer endorsement or a hiring outcome.
Employer listings, generated observations and account screens currently carry no Google-served ads. An account is useful for saved preferences and member features; it is not needed to read a job or follow its application link.
