ACI Connex Developer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ACI Connex Developer with strong expertise in payment switching, ATM/POS transaction processing, ISO 8583 messaging, and acquiring/issuing systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Connex development, switch interfaces, payment network integrations, and transaction processing solutions within the Cards & Payments domain. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and support ACI Connex payment switch applications. Design and implement transaction processing solutions for ATM, POS, and card payment systems. Develop and maintain Connex interfaces, routing rules, and transaction flows. Work on issuer and acquirer transaction processing requirements. Analyze and troubleshoot payment-switch-related production issues. Support Visa, Mastercard, NPCI, and other payment network integrations. Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, certification, and production deployments. Collaborate with business, operations, and client teams to deliver payment solutions. Ensure high availability and performance of payment-switching systems. Mandatory Skills Hands-on experience in ACI Connex Development Connex Script development/customization ISO 8583 Message Processing Payment Switching ATM/POS Transaction Processing Acquiring & Issuing Systems Payment Network Integrations (Visa, Mastercard, NPCI) Switch Interface Development Transaction Routing & Authorization Technical Skills Java Python SQL Node.js XML Connex Scripts Preferred Skills Experience with ACI payment products. Knowledge of ATM/POS terminal integrations. EMV transaction processing. Production support and incident management. Banking and Cards & Payments domain experience. Exposure to switch certification projects.
