Responsibilities • Perform health checks, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting across VMware, including v Center, ESXi, v Motion, v RA, SRM, VDI, and v SAN. • Support storage systems including Dell Power Store, Unity, Cohesity, and AWS FSx. • Support backup platforms including Avamar, IDPA, Dell Data Domain, and Backupify. • Support Linux and Windows Server environments, including patching, deployment, and clustering. • Support Citrix technologies including CVAD, Net Scaler, Xen Desktop, and Control Up. • Support FTP and file-transfer processes including WSFTP, PGP, and job scheduling. • Monitor systems using Solar Winds, Data Insights, Cloud IQ, and related tools. • Support Azure AD, Power BI, Share Point, and other enterprise applications. • Execute patch management, system updates, and routine maintenance. • Respond to alerts and incidents, escalating as needed. • Maintain documentation and update runbooks. • Collaborate with global teams to ensure continuity and coverage. Experience Required • 7+ years of experience in system administration or engineering. • Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, and enterprise storage. • Familiarity with backup systems and monitoring tools. • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. • Ability to work independently during night shifts. … Preferred Experience • IT generalist comfortable handling moderately complex tasks across a diverse set of platforms. • Scripting knowledge, including Power Shell and Bash. • Exposure to ITIL processes and ticketing systems. Education QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
