Cloud Data Engineer - Snowflake, DBT, Airflow and AWS.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and AWS to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on cloud data platform implementation experience, solutioning capabilities, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams. This role requires a blend of technical excellence, architecture thinking, cloud platform delivery experience, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms on AWS. Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow. Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployments. Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions. Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing cloud platform support. Drive best practices around automation, data governance, monitoring, and cloud optimization. Experience in solutioning, architecture, and technical leadership. Exposure to modern data engineering practices and cloud-native architectures. Experience working in Agile environments. Financial Services, Banking, or Collections domain experience is desirable. Soft Skills Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience. Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Candidate Profile 8–10 years of overall IT experience. Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS. Proven experience delivering cloud data engineering solutions end-to-end. Ability to balance hands-on development with solution design and stakeholder engagement.
