The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert in Search domain, understand concepts like search engines, query understanding, ranking, typeahead. They will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders, clearly communicate and document technical decisions, lead solution-design discussions, provide high-quality technical feedback, and mentor team members in engineering best practices and domain knowledge. About You • 4 year degree or equivalent experience • 5-7 years of software development experience • Code using primarily Kotlin, Micronaut. • Experience with Search Engines like SOLR and Elasticsearch • Experience in evaluating search infrastructure requirements and design/deploy solutions for problems such as high availability, search clusters, elastic load distribution. • Experience on streaming systems like Kafka. Experience on Kafka Streams is added advantage.
