Role & responsibilities Role Summary Responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing cycle of pressure parts by implementing quality systems, coordinating inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and IBR requirements, and driving continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with customer specifications, ITPs, quality plans, and applicable codes. Conduct and coordinate stage-wise inspections during fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and final inspection. Review fabrication drawings, welding procedures, inspection requirements, and quality documentation. Coordinate NDT activities, PWHT, hydro testing, and third-party/IBR inspections. Ensure material traceability, dimensional accuracy, weld quality, and documentation compliance. Review and approve inspection reports, MDRs, test certificates, and quality records. Investigate NCRs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Liaise with customers, third-party inspectors, and statutory authorities during inspections and audits. Guide quality inspectors and shop-floor personnel on quality requirements.
