Collected role description
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate IT Lead – SAP ABAP professional with 14 to 17 years of experience in SAP delivery, preferably within the pharma industry or IT services organizations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in SAP ABAP with leadership skills to drive enterprise-scale transformation programs, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence. Lead SAP ABAP development teams across multiple modules (SD, MM, QM, EWM, FI/CO, PP, etc.) Define and enforce coding standards, performance optimization, and extensibility best practices Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions Drive design, development, and deployment of ABAP objects, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori integration Ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations (GxP, FDA, SOX) and IT audit requirements Manage delivery timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication Oversee integration with middleware platforms (SAP CPI/PI, third-party systems) Provide technical leadership in S/4HANA transformation programs, including upgrades and migrations Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
