It involves use of analytics, business Intelligence, ETL on datawarehouses and datalakes( OLTP and OLAP) or maintaining front end applications for client services. Process Plus is a sub cluster of CEFS which is a center of excellence for process orchestration. Camunda is the platform chosen for process orchestration. Various business units, e.g. CIB2SGM will be leveraging the CoE to automate the orchestration of their business processes. Job Title: Date: 11-09-2026 Department: CIB IT Location: Mumbai/Bengaluru Business Line / Function: CIB IT Business Line Reports to: (Direct) Grade: (if applicable) (Functional) Number of Direct Reports: NA Directorship / Registration: NA Position Purpose Role needs a hands-on Camunda Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise grade workflow solutions that power our critical business processes. As part of our process orchestration unit, person will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and DevOps engineers to turn BPMN, DMN and CMMN models into reliable, scalable, and observable services that run on Java/SpringBoot microservices platforms. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities 1. Model & Optimize Processes – Build, refine and version BPMN, DMN and CMMN diagrams using Camunda Modeler, ensuring they meet business rules, compliance, and performance targets. 2. Implementation – Develop Java / Spring‑Boot services that interact with Camunda’s Process Engine (Java API, External Tasks). 3. Integration – Design REST, gRPC, or messaging (Kafka) integrations between Camunda and external systems (ERP, CRM, legacy services). 4. Deployment & CI/CD – Package process applications as Docker containers, write Helm charts/Kubernetes manifests, and automate deployments via Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub actions. 5. Operations & Monitoring – Set up Camunda Operate, Tasklist, Optimize dashboards, and configure Prometheus/Grafana alerts for process health, SLA compliance, and bottleneck detection. 6. Governance & Documentation – Maintain version controlled BPMN/DMN repositories, write technical documentation and enforce naming, tagging, and security standards. 7. Collaboration – Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, daily stand‑ups) and work with product owners to translate business requirements into executable processes. 8. Continuous Improvement – Evaluate new Camunda features (e.g., Camunda Platform 8, Zeebe), propose upgrades, and pilot emerging BPM technologies.
