Collected role description
We are looking for a highly experienced DataDog Architect with 8+ years of experience in monitoring, observability, and cloud-native environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide observability strategies using Datadog, ensuring system reliability, performance optimization, and proactive incident management. Responsibilities: Architect and implement Datadog monitoring solutions including: APM (Application Performance Monitoring) Log Management Infrastructure Monitoring RUM (Real User Monitoring) Synthetic Monitoring Define and implement enterprise observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, SLOs). Design advanced dashboards, alerts, and automated incident response workflows. Integrate Datadog with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments . Implement monitoring for Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads . Embed observability within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.). Lead performance troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization. Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to improve system resilience. Drive monitoring governance, best practices, and standardization across teams. Qualifications: B.Tech/BCA or any Graduation Datadog certification Experience in regulated environments (BFSI/Healthcare) ITIL or SRE exposure Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
