Job Title: Data Architect ? Azure & Box.com Integration Location: Pune GCC Role Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking a Data Architect to design and implement a centralized enterprise document repository by integrating Box.com and Azure Storage . The role will focus on data architecture, synchronization, metadata management, and governance , enabling a scalable and controlled document management platform for enterprise use cases such as investor portal Key Responsibilities 1. Data Architecture & Platform Design Define end-to-end architecture for a centralized document repository Design integration between Box.com (external content platform) and Azure Storage (internal data platform) Establish scalable storage patterns for structured and unstructured data 2. Data Synchronization & Integration Design and implement two-way synchronization between Box.com and Azure Storage Ensure data consistency, version control, and change propagation Replace point-to-point integrations with standardized integration patterns 3. Metadata Management Define and implement enterprise metadata models Manage mappings (e.g., fund admin IDs to internal identifiers) for consistency and traceability Enable efficient document classification, indexing, and retrieval 4. Data Governance & Compliance Establish data governance frameworks including: Data quality and validation controls Data lineage and auditability Access control and security policies Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards 5. Enterprise Integration Integrate with enterprise platforms such as: Investor portals SharePoint and internal systems External partner ecosystems Enable seamless document access and distribution workflows 6. Delivery & Execution Define architecture for MVP delivery (3?6 months? timeline) aligned to business goals Support SOW creation, estimation, and technical planning Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams during implementation Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Enterprise Data Platforms Strong expertise in: Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake, related services) Enterprise content management platforms (Box, SharePoint, etc.) Experience in: Data modeling (structured & unstructured data) Data integration and synchronization patterns Metadata management and governance frameworks Proven ability to design scalable, secure, enterprise-grade data platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or asset management domain Familiarity with document-heavy platforms (investor reporting, alternatives, etc.) Knowledge of API-driven architecture and microservices integration Key Deliverables Centralized Document Repository Architecture Box.com ?
