Counsel, prepare and enhance hiring potential of students, new graduates into the job market. Assist in the placement of work study eligible students. Roles & Responsibilities To obtain employment and experiential opportunities in business, industry, academia for students in all programs of the college. To counsel, prepare and enhance hiring potential of students, new graduates into the job market. To assist in the internships and placement of students. Finding placement opportunities for students. Building and maintaining relationships with students to discover skills and preferences. Liaising with students and employers during placements. Fostering relationships with local placement providers. Negotiating terms of placements with providers. Conducting pre-placement background checks. Providing lists of placement students to course coordinators. Reporting student or workplace issues. Providing information and documentation about placements to studen Desired Skills The candidate should be a Graduate in any field. Excellent communication skills written and verbal and negotiation skills Knowledge of functioning of academic institutions and placement process The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and networking in the market.
