JOB DESCRIPTION: At DEC Industries, accuracy is our hallmark. Our Engineering department is the backbone of our 500-acre manufacturing capability. We believe in getting it right the first time. We are looking for a Senior Tekla Modeler who can bridge the gap between design and reality. You will be responsible for creating highly accurate 3D BIM models and fabrication drawings that our factory uses to produce thousands of tons of steel. Your work directly impacts the speed and quality of our construction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Generate comprehensive 3D models for PEB structures and hot-rolled steel sections using Tekla Structures. - Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for production. - Identify and resolve clashing issues and complex connection details during the modeling phase. - Collaborate with the structural design team to ensure constructability of connections. - Generate NC files for CNC machines and coordinate with the production planning team. - Mentor junior detailers and ensure drawing standards are maintained. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - Diploma or B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Steel Detailing. - Certified Tekla Structures Professional preferred. - Deep understanding of welded and bolted connection details. - Ability to read and interpret complex structural design drawings.
