In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for electrical systems in construction and engineering projects. Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems using software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEP Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems within the overall BIM model Analyze and resolve conflicts between electrical and other building systems in the BIM environment Create and manage BIM content libraries for electrical components Develop and implement BIM standards and best practices for electrical systems Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize electrical design and installation processes Generate reports and documentation to support project planning and decision-making Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and processes for electrical systems Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards throughout the BIM process Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives What do we need from you Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably with a focus on electrical systems Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEP Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and construction processes Excellent understanding of electrical codes and standards, including local building codes in Bengaluru, India BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferred Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Familiarity with construction processes and project management principles Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment {"@context":"http://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","url":"https://jobs.egis-group.com/job/bim-coordinator-electrical-in-bengaluru-jid-6472","title":"BIM Coordinator - Electrical","description":" About Us About Egis: Egis is a French based leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm present in Middle East, Europe, India, Latin America, Africa & Asia Pacific with 18,000 employee strength globally (more than 6000 in Middle East & India).
