Sr DevOps Engineer (AWS OR Azure)

As per company standards Organization - Emplay Analytics Inc Salary (CTC ) - As per company standards Job Location - Remote/Work from Home (India) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Linux, Docker, Cloud, (AWS/Azure), scripting, application deployments, and production troubleshooting. ‍ Key Responsibilities ● Manage application deployments, maintenance, upgrades, and day-to-day operations across cloud and containerized environments. ● Administer and maintain Linux/Unix servers and related infrastructure. ● Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes. ● Work with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure and services. ● Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing application and Docker logs, system resources, configurations, networking, and service dependencies. ● Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement, validate, and document appropriate solutions. ● Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for infrastructure automation, deployment, health checks, troubleshooting, and operational tasks. ● Support microservices-based applications and troubleshoot service connectivity, configurations, environment variables, ports, volumes, and dependencies. ● Work with SQL databases and Redis for operational troubleshooting, data validation, and infrastructure support. ● Configure and manage Nginx/Apache and troubleshoot reverse proxy and service connectivity issues. ● Automate repetitive operational activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. ‍ Required Skills & Experience ● 3–6 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Operations, Linux Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering. ● Strong hands-on experience with Linux server administration. ● Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose. ● Strong working experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. ● Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. ● Strong proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting and infrastructure automation. ● Strong experience with Docker/container log analysis. ● Good understanding of SQL and relational databases. ● Working knowledge of Redis or similar infrastructure components. ● Good understanding of networking, DNS, ports, HTTP/HTTPS, reverse proxies, and service connectivity. ● Experience configuring and managing Nginx and/or Apache. ● Good understanding of Linux CPU, memory, disk, processes, permissions, filesystems, and system resource troubleshooting. ● Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools. ● Ability to independently diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, database, and service dependencies. ● Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. ‍ Preferred Skills ● Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools. ● Exposure to Helm and Kubernetes deployment management. ● Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Cloud Watch, or similar monitoring and logging solutions. ● Experience with Python for infrastructure automation and tooling. ● Understanding of Docker, Linux, and cloud security best practices. ● Experience managing multi-tenant or customer-specific cloud/containerized environments. ● Familiarity with incident management, RCA, and preventive actions. ‍ Application Process You can apply on this job portal, or submit your resume and relevant details to: placement@emplay.net Email subject line: Application – Sr. Devops Engineer – Emplay Inc Please include the following in your email: ● Current CTC ● Expected CTC ● Notice period ● Years of relevant experience ● Reason for job change ● Linked In profile link ‍ Open Linkedin Apply View all jobs OUR PRODUCTS Sales Agents Support Agents Procurement Agents People Performance Agents OUR PLATFORM Conversational AI Knowledge AI Generative AI COMPANY About Us Partner with Us Careers Contact Us RESOURCES Resource hub Video Blog Linked In Twitter POLICIES Terms of Use Privacy Policy Security and Compliance Copyright © 2025 Emplay.
