We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer - Java with Spring Boot to drive backend architecture and deliver secure, dependable services. You will build microservices with Java 21, Spring Security and Quarkus, integrate RESTful APIs, and steer CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments on Azure Cloud—apply now. Responsibilities Engineer enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot Define and implement microservices solutions deployed on cloud platforms Design and integrate RESTful APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions Run code reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering team members Drive architectural decisions to ensure quality, security, reliability and compliance Embed Agile and DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle Oversee CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery processes Debug and resolve complex issues across the application stack Operate services using containerization and orchestration tools for deployment and management Requirements Proven hands-on experience (5+ years) in designing and developing using Java 21, Quarkus and Java/JEE Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security and JUnit Practical knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and PL/SQL within relational databases Background delivering microservices architecture on Azure Cloud and Serverless Working proficiency with Kubernetes, including pods, containers, services and Istio Experience with Docker and Redis for development and runtime needs Ability to design RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications Familiarity with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field Nice to have Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and React (including Hooks) Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript Experience in performance tuning and DevOps Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable and maintainable UI solutions following industry standards and patterns
