The Manager, Financial Analytics will inform decision making across the company by conducting analyses and developing actionable insights. What You’ll Be Doing: Support calculation of IBNR balances for monthly close Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and underlying data to support reporting, including membership, claims, forecast assumptions, and IBNR balances Help internal business customers achieve goals by performing statistical analysis, developing analytic models, creating data reports/dashboards using a variety of performance metrics Support ad hoc analyses to provide data-driven insights to answer specific business questions that arise from company leadership and partners Streamline processes to improve efficiency of key deliverables Be reliable; set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and escalate risks as needed Consistently deliver high-quality, error-free deliverables The Ideal Candidate: Desires to work on challenging projects for a high-growth organization Reliable, takes initiative, operates in ambiguity, and manages competing deadlines Works collaboratively and pitches in for the greater good of the team Manages multiple deadlines while maintaining high quality standards The Experience You’ll Need (Required): Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Math, Economics or related degree 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis with strong analytical skills using Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools) Finishing Touches (Preferred): Familiarity or experience with medical/pharmacy claims Familiarity with Power Query/BI/VBA Ability to read and write SQL code To ensure a secure hiring process we have implemented several identity verification steps, including submission of a government issued photo ID.
