Your Team's Impact: Liquidity Book is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Hyderabad, focusing on the development and improvement of our Order Management System (OMS) platform. This role involves hands-on work across backend Java systems and frontend applications, collaborating with team members to deliver reliable and effective solutions. What You'll Do: Participate in the design and development of OMS features for both new initiatives and existing products. Contribute to backend service and frontend application development using established technologies. Support team code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting. Help maintain engineering best practices and code quality. Assist with platform improvements, including refactoring and performance enhancements. Make hands-on technical contributions to software development projects. What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in programming in Java and frontend frameworks like reactjs, angular or Vue. Experience working with distributed systems or large-scale applications. Solid foundation in software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. Should be comfortable with using AI coding assistance like Claude. Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Vitest/Jest/Mocha, Playwright etc. Exposure to CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) or automation tools. Effective problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to learn and support team growth. Preferred Qualifications: Experience or knowledge of financial trading applications, especially OMS, EMS, or related systems. Familiarity with multi-threaded programming and scalable frontend solutions. Understanding of trading workflows, FIX protocol, or market data integration.
